Some Much needed Family Time~

I love getting together with family, there is just nothing better! We have been missing everyone so much and needed some good old family fun! We laugh sooooo much when we are all together, it makes all of life's stresses disappear. The kids had a blast swimming with their cousins.They have missed each other like crazy! I absolutely love that we are all so close. It is rare for all the parents,siblings,spouses and kids to get along so well and I truly feel blessed that all our lives are joined. It would not be the same if anyone was missing. Thanks Mom & Dad for all your hard work and for all the yummy food!

My sweet Haylie~

When I started doing the blog thing,It really was not to brag or show off my cute family, however they are stinkin cute! Anyways I did it more for my girls. I kind of think of this as a modern day journal and someday my girls and my grandchildren will have a record of the things that meant a lot to me and the things that I experience from day to day. I do a lot of post about my family and how I feel about all of them because that is most important to me. I learn so much from all of them and I love each one of them for who they are and for the part they play in my life. I often have moments where I sit back and really feel so blessed. Tonight was one of those moments. I hurt my back pretty bad over the weekend. I have never really hurt my back like this before but I'm really in a lot of pain. Anyways, my amazing daughter Haylie steeped right and took over what would normally be my responsibilities. She got home from school and did her homework, then she asked if she could help me out and get the family home evening lesson ready.When She finished, she made a killer dinner. She rocks in the culinary department! After dinner she gave her lesson and blew Gordon and I completely out of the water! She did it all by herself, She talked about the importance of repentance. I was so impressed with her ability to truly understand and teach how important this is.She had great Scriptures, a song and even a little object lesson to go along with it. It was just one of those mother moments when you sit back and say wow, and wounder if that's really your child! She is growing into such an incredible young lady. She is truly amazing and has taught me so much from the time I first held her in my arms till I kissed her goodbye on her first day of Jr. High. Time... It is all to precious ~

BOOT CAMP~

Ok, so yesterday I got up at 4:30am and went to pick up my friend to go to a Boot Camp class down by the river. It was so beautiful as the sun was rising. The bugs were a bit much, but we dealt with it. This was my first time going and can I just say, they kicked my trash ten times over!It was an amazing work out and today I'm totally feeling it. I woke up in the night every time I turned over because I was in so much pain! The sick part is, I secretly can't wait to go again!

Making Memories~

It was so nice to have family come see us. We missed Mom & Dad and Brackon & Marcie & their girls but we had a lot of fun spending time together. Well maybe I should not speak for them, But we had fun! Anyhoo we did all kinds of stuff but the kids loved going to the lake to feed the carp. We took 3 big bags of popcorn and the fish went crazy. In one of the Pic's you can see Gordon scooping one up in his arms, he then put it on the deck and the kids all screamed. Oh and some hag of a lady got on a loud speaker and yelled at him for touching the fish. We laughed. They are nasty carp and there's like a million of them who cares! But it would not be complete without Gordon getting in trouble for something. HA HA

Arizona Jewelry ~

Those of you that know my hubby will not be surprised by this at all! He has been called "Dora the explore" because he is so easily distracted by all kinds of creatures. He will fallow something he see forever. I guess that is why he is an amazing hunter. Anyways last weekend we got to have Coby, Tiffany,Blake,Hannah,Tyler,Kacie,Savie, and Demi stay at our house. The boys went exploring in some old mine and caught this little guy, so of course Gordon had to see if it would really latch on to his ear, why you ask???? Who knows I guess its a guy thing. Well it latched on alright, they had to get pliers to get it off, it left a pretty nice bite mark on his ear. Serves him right!!!

Well the first week of school is under our belts. I have had no time to blog at all and I'm really not happy about it! Anyways I will try to sum up what I can. Haylie started Jr High!! Umm HELLO! She is just so sweet and you should see some of the kids at her school, some of them look like they have already served time... if you know what I mean. I pray with everything in me that she stays the sweet good girl that she is. The other two were so funny, we were pulling up to school and Mallorie, who absolutely cracks us up daily says "guys I have butterflies in my stomach and they are flopping all over the place" We all laughed, I think it took some of the tension off their shoulders, that is until we got to the gate and they would not allow any parents on campus. ARE U FREAKING KIDDING ME! What the hell kind of school is this. Last time I checked we pay for public schools and I don't thinks its even legal to tell a parent they can't come on campus. Anyways I was well, lets just say tick off to be nice. Poor Madison, who has high anxiety as it is was just walking around in circles trying to find her class at a new school and no one even helped her! Don't worry i have a nasty e-mail for the principle, I'm just waiting to calm down so i can delete some of the not so nice things I said! But seriously who would not be upset? (I dear you to tell me you wouldn't) Anyhoo here are some first day of school pic's. They have to wear school shirts every day as their uniform so they were not super excite for a photo section. However it was by far the cheapest school shopping a mother of 3 girls will ever do!

Brackon's Birthday ~

It's been a while since I have had time to blog but I wanted to tell my brother Brackon Happy Birthday. His Birthday was a few days ago on the seventh,I talked to him for a little bit on the phone but I did not get a chance to post his pic. I don't get to see him as much as the rest of my family, but that does not change how close I feel to him. My family had the opportunity to stay with Brackon and his family a few weeks before we moved. We had so much fun with them. I enjoyed being able to spend some one on one time with him. He is such an amazing husband and father. All of his girls adore him. He Works hard for his family and is very passionate about everything he does. His knowledge inspires me, his strength and testimony are an example to me. I love him so much, I'm blessed to have him as a brother. Happy Birthday Brackon ~
