Bryce ~

 

We ended our summer camping vacation up at Bryce National Park with Gordon's family. It was breathtaking & absolutely beautiful! We did a few hikes, Some of the girls were not huge fans because it was pretty dang hot! We went to an astrology thing one night and we were able to look at the moon & stars through some pretty cool telescopes.Swimming was a daily event to stay cool and lots of visiting around the camp fire. Most of all it was just a relaxing time making memories and having fun! I cherish so much the TIME I get with my family. Life moves so quickly and we are all so busy. The Girls are growing up way to fast. I hope they cherish this time as much as I do ~

Our beautiful daughters are growing up way to fast! I'm so proud of each of them and I wish so badly I could freeze time. I am so grateful that I get to be their Mom. They teach me so much and I admire their strength and unwavering faith.

4th of July ~

 

Before we left on our summer camping trip we got to spend some MUCH needed time with my brother, Brackons family! They came and spent a week in the heat with us & we had a blast! The cousins were all so excited to be together and we were all super excited to meet baby Kade! Oh my goodness he melts my heart! So fun to have a baby around again!

We went to the Sun Bowl on the 4th & listen to some music and watched some GREAT fireworks! There is just something about summer time, family and fireworks! I just love it!!!

Fishing Bites ~

 

Of Course Gordon had to fish while on our trip, however he was not the only one getting bites! Oh my gosh the mosquitoes were HORRIBLE!!!! I felt so bad for my girls they got the worst of it! I think we spent $50 on bug spray and they still looked like this! We were so glad to move on to Bryce Canyon where the bugs were not bad at all!

Summer Vaction 2010 ~

 

We found a pool and a dinosaur museum to go to while we were on our camp-o-rama. The girls had a blast swimming & we thought we should throw some learning into this adventure! Oh and Gordon had to see if he still had his sweet diving skills!

Summer Pizza Party ~

 

We had some friends & family over at the beginning of summer and made homemade pizza (and Gordon's famous chicken wings)in my Dad's pizza oven! We had so much fun we can't wait to do it again!

Minute To Win It ~

 

We went on a big family Camp-O-Rama this year with Gordon's family for our summer vacation. We had soooo much fun! Gordon Aunt Jeannie planned some really fun games for us all to play. They were all form the game show Minute To Win It! Oh the laughter & good times that were had! I was on picture duty most of the time because I got eliminated early and I had tears running down my face! It was hard to focus because I was laughing so hard! Great memories for sure!

Mallorie First TRI ~

 

Mallorie trained with her Dad for her first Triathlon! She did such a great job & it was super emotional. She was so nervous the night before. I said "do you have butterflies in your tummy? She said well I think they are caterpillars right now and tomorrow they will be butterflies" I had to laugh, it was so cute! I am so proud of her drive and hard work! She took 2nd place over all! Way to go Mal!

Guess who's Back ~

 

Gordon Returned to competing in triathlons after a two year break! We went to Huntington Utah last week and he ROCKED it! He has lost over 25 lbs to prepare and looks GREAT! This TRI was a special one for a few reasons. First Mallorie competed for her first time (made her Daddy proud) and Gordon's Mom, Aunts & a few cousins also participated. Gordon took 2nd place in his age group! Whoo hoo

A Girl Can Dream Right?

So we have been ever busy living our cray life. I just have to realize that I'm NEVER going to get caught up on my blog!I know I have a million pictures somewhere that I need to post, A million stories and funny thoughts that race through my crazy brain everyday to share, BUT I simply can not find the time! How sad is that? I really would love to hire someone to MAKE me find the time for the tings I never quite get around to doing. How fantastic would that be? Morning workouts, homemade meals, blogging, making something super crafty (totally kidding on the crafty he he he )... awwwwwww good old fashion quality time. Yeah I can dream

I can also dream of a fabulous vacation! I need to go on another cruise almost as much as I need to breath right now . Sometimes when I'm feeling more pathetic then usual, I close my eyes and can smell the ocean & feel the wind on my face. I can taste fresh ripe juicy pineapple. The other day I even went as far as driving to the tanning salon just so I could feel sun kissed for a day! Awwww a vacation that would simply be smashing! I'm sure I'll have this dream for a while but for now it helps get me through~

In The Blink Of An Eye ~

I don't know if I have ever taken more time out of life to reflect on how fast it can all change, than in the past month. I believe we are given wake up calls that tell us to slow down and re prioritize our lives and its up to us to listen to the sometimes not so still small voice. I have had some experiences that have really forced me to reflect on all my many blessing and remind me of that life is so very precious and is not to be taken advantage of. I am so thankful for my beautiful family, for the opportunity I have to be a wife and a mother. For all the wonderful people the Lord has put in my path. So very many have touched my life. Most have done so very quietly and probably don't know the impact they have had. I hope that I can strive this year to slow down and enjoy my life because it can all change in the blink of an eye ~
