Happy Birthday Baby!

Yesterday was my sweet husband’s birthday. Gordon HATES the spotlight; it pretty much killed him to get so much attention (this may be a shocker to some). I don’t think he has ever been sung “Happy Birthday” to so many times in his life! But there a few things that make me love this man more & more every day so hang on it’s gonna get mushy!!! I am so unbelievably blessed to have him in my life. He is a pillar of strength in our family. He is such a great Daddy to our daughters. He is patient and loving with them when he teaches them new things or helps with homework. He is my very best friend, the one that puts the wind in my sails, and encourages me to fight for what I believe in. He tolerates my extremely silly side, lets me embarrass him when I laugh out loud in movies, and he never acts surprised at me and my sister’s humor. I love the passion that he has for the outdoors. He marvels at simple things that you or I may not think twice about. I truly believe he has a remarkable respect & understanding for the beauties our Heavenly Father has created for us. I love that he genuinely loves spending time with me. He takes me hunting, fishing & would love if I would go golfing with him ( sooo not ever going to happen) . Most men love their time away from their wife’s, but he and I don’t seem to enjoy things as much if we are not together. I am grateful for his diligence in his calling with the young men and for his testimony. He has taught me more then he could ever imagine. I love that he tries so hard to make me laugh when we have ridiculously bad days at work! Most of all, I love that he is MINE and that I am the one that gets to love and appreciate all of these things about him throughout our journey here and for all eternity. Saving My Mama's Ta-Tas ~

I can't even start this post without crying! Last weekend was, well lets just say AMAZING! We had so much fun celebrating the end of all that my Mom has been through this past year. We laughed, cried,danced,laughed, cried some more and made precious memories with each other. I get a lump in my throat every time I think about all of this. I thought that I have been through some hard times in my life but hats off to this amazingly brave women. She has taught me so much and her strength is like no one I know. I feel so blessed to be apart of this family and to have had the opportunity to be surrounded by so many great women who have all, in some way touched my life. I am glad that this experience has made me much more aware and I hope that women will take charge of their bodies and listen to your intuition. Doctors do not always know everything and they most certainly do not know your body better then you. I'm glad my Mom pushed and demanded more test. She knew something was not right and she took control. I'm glad she set such a great example to me and my girls. It was very emotional to watch her on Saturday. It was most definitely the most empowering thing I have ever been a part of. To see my Mom in the survivor parade,to see the look in her eyes, to feel her strength was absolutely priceless. Mom I love you dearly. I admire you more then I can express. I'm so unbelievably impressed with how you have faced this head on. Mom you are today and always my hero. My Mama's ta-tas are survivors!!!!!!! Whooo hoooo

I have SO many pic's, I will have to put a slide show together. We had a blast at my Mom surprise party that My Aunt Shelie put together for her and I have tons more pic's of the race. Thanks to everyone one that came out to support My Mom and to those who donated to this great cause.

Bubbalicious Baby!

Gordon and I have enjoyed going to supercross together for several years. We usually have a pretty healthy rivalry going on, as we prefer different riders…that is until this year. Things got a little heated for sure!!!! My rider, James Stewart, AKA Bubba is freakin amazing and has mad skills. He is so fun to watch and his speed is off the charts! I have been a fan since he was riding in the lite class. Gordon’s rider is Chad Read, who has had to step up his game to keep up with Stewart but it was just not quit enough this year. I won’t trash talk him to much and I also won’t post his pic on my blog!!! James won the season championship & that makes me happy! We enjoy our day in Vegas together without any children. It turned out to be a really nice day!

Whoo hoo Mallorie!

Mallorie played and WON her basketball game against their rival elementary school 4th graders. She was so excited to play. She did such a great job! She made a basket and was a great cheerleader when it was time for the boys to play! She is always so excited to be involved with things at school. Let’s hope it stays that way!
