A Night With Taylor ~

Since our girls were all ROCK STARS this year on their report cards we took them to Vegas to see their all time favorite singer Taylor Swift..I won't lie I LOVE her too! It was hands down the BEST concert I have ever been too! She was so amazing with her fans. She is still very humble and several times would stop and just take it all in! We are so proud of our girls and to see the look on their faces when she came and performed below our seats was absolutely priceless. The very moments that you live for when you are a parent.

Our Wish For You ~

We Had a bracelet cutting ceremony while we were in St George. Mom cut off all of our pink breast cancer bracelets that we have worn since she was diagnosed.We each said a wish for her as she cut it off. It was very emotional and kind of an end to this chapter. We sure missed Brackon & Marcie and their girls but I know we hope that this is behind her for good! We love you Mom!

Meg's Wedding ~

We went home a few weeks ago for my girlfriends wedding. She was such a beautiful bride. I'm so glad she found her Happy Ever After! Love you Meg xoxoxo

Down came the SPRAY and washed the spider out~

This is what I came home to the other day! It was in my garage. Oh my goodness I think I sprayed the entire can of bug spray on it! Me and spiders...umm not so much!

Mom's always make you feel better~

I have had a rough couple of days and my sweet Mom always knows what to say to make me feel better. She sent me this, this morning and it was so profound I had to share it. Thanks for making me feel better Mom. You are the BEST!

In April, Maya Angelou was interviewed by Oprah on her 70+ birthday. Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older.
And, there on television, she said it was 'exciting.' Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day....like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first.

The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such an honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!

Maya Angelou said this:

Happy Birthday Baby!

Yesterday was my sweet husband’s birthday. Gordon HATES the spotlight; it pretty much killed him to get so much attention (this may be a shocker to some). I don’t think he has ever been sung “Happy Birthday” to so many times in his life! But there a few things that make me love this man more & more every day so hang on it’s gonna get mushy!!! I am so unbelievably blessed to have him in my life. He is a pillar of strength in our family. He is such a great Daddy to our daughters. He is patient and loving with them when he teaches them new things or helps with homework. He is my very best friend, the one that puts the wind in my sails, and encourages me to fight for what I believe in. He tolerates my extremely silly side, lets me embarrass him when I laugh out loud in movies, and he never acts surprised at me and my sister’s humor. I love the passion that he has for the outdoors. He marvels at simple things that you or I may not think twice about. I truly believe he has a remarkable respect & understanding for the beauties our Heavenly Father has created for us. I love that he genuinely loves spending time with me. He takes me hunting, fishing & would love if I would go golfing with him ( sooo not ever going to happen) . Most men love their time away from their wife’s, but he and I don’t seem to enjoy things as much if we are not together. I am grateful for his diligence in his calling with the young men and for his testimony. He has taught me more then he could ever imagine. I love that he tries so hard to make me laugh when we have ridiculously bad days at work! Most of all, I love that he is MINE and that I am the one that gets to love and appreciate all of these things about him throughout our journey here and for all eternity.
